ABOUT US

We know that Hashem listens to our prayers. Anything is possible is a world where Hashem is in charge. I am a testimony to the impossible and to the never ending truth that anything is possible if you’re prepared to daven and work hard to achieve your goals. This website is dedicated to Rav Yosef Shalom Eliyashev zt”l, who while I never had the merit to meet him, changed my life forever by his superhuman passion for the Torah and the truth. His desire to push the bounds of human potential to show generations of the Klal Yisroel that anything is possible.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Your Opportunities

This daily schedule of about 13 hours plus a day and six days a week, excluding Erev Shabbos and Yom Tov, is extremely powerful and very unique. On the advice of my father, I am offering a few different sponsorship opportunities, so you can join in the incredible reward for this learning.

For just $200 a day, you can sponsor a full day of 13 hours of learning.  According to the Chofetz Chaim, a full day of learning of 13 hours is equivalent to about 650,000 mitzvos.

If you sponsor a mesecta of Shas Bavli, Shas Yerushalmi, Mishnayos or Rambam, the reward is much much greater.

Your can sponsor for any reason you see fit. Either in remembrance of a parent or relative, refuah shleima for someone, or anything else you can imagine.

Also, I am bli neder attempting to finish all of Shas Bavli, Shas Yerushalmi and Mishnayos this year with my hatzlacha and Hashem’s help. I am also hoping bli neder to finish the entire Mishna Torah with the Kesef Mishna and the Maggid Mishna sometime next year.

My Mission

The day that Rav Yosef Shalom Eliyashev zt”l was niftar in 2012, I was fortunate enough the attend his levaya in Jerusalem on a warm summer night in Tammuz thirteen years ago. That morning I heard a shiur from Rav Nissan Kaplan shlit”a. He said that when a gadol is niftar, all his strengths and abilities remain in the world for the week of the shiva after his patira, and anyone can take any of those superhuman strengths and get an Aliyah in ruchnius on a level not even possible between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur. That night at about 1:30 in the morning when I returned from the levaya, Mishpacha magazine had printed articles in tribute to the Gadol Hador. One of the articles recounted that Rav Eliyashev had a very special seder of learning starting every “morning” at 2 am. He would start his day every day at that hour, and then learn until shachris. I turned to my wife on the spot, and said to her that I am going to take on that. With amazing kindness and love, she took on that kaballah, and allowed me to get up at that crazy hour, go to shul, and learn all night, Baruch Hashem, I have been doing this seven days a week now for 13 years since the rav’s patira. Most of that time, I was working full-time, and commuting almost two hours every day. The dream that I cried for and davened for, after being forced to leave kollel after just one year of marriage had finally come true. With the amazing grace of Hashem, I have even been zocha to leave full-time work, and return to full-time learning for the last number of years, and IY”H well into the future. As a final honor, I have a real plan to finish Kol Hatorah Kula sometime next year IY”H like Rav Eliyashev’s famous son-in-law Rav Chaim Kanievsky zt”l. This holy family has left such a special reputation for all of us. May we all be zocha to succeed in Torah in every way we have always desired.
